M5i Loadcell Signal Processor
The M5 is a portable, precision battery-powered instrument, designed for use with loadcells and other strain gauge type transducers, (torque, displacement, pressure, strain, stress…). The built-in rechargeable battery provides about 5 days of continuous operation on a full charge, making the instrument independent of mains supply on site. It finds application as a “master” display for reference loadcells used for calibrating materials testing machines, as well as the main display in those machines. The measuring section of the M5 has 16-bit resolution, ± 32000 steps for ± 3 mV/V, with flicker-free display of the measured value.
